Remembrance
11th November brings together people in an act of remembrance, for those who fought and died on behalf of their country. The veterans who survived outwardly recall the camaraderie rather than the traumas, but the mental scars are still there just below the surface. Taken during the briefest of encounters at services in London, Oxford and Aylesbury, I have sought to capture portraits of the dignity in the men and women who served, as well as those who simply wish to pay their respects.
